About The Venue

The Venue is a state of the art entertainment complex situated in the popular Essex seaside town of St Osyth, near Clacton on Sea. The impressive set boasts a brand new audio and visual sound and light system, a VIP viewing gallery, Golden Circle (to get even closer to all the action), and has been specially designed to attract A-List celebrities and entertainers.  The large development can hold approximately 3,000 people, or comfortably seat 850.

A large main bar, 2 bottle bars, and the ‘Nibble and Munch’ Takeaway can be found within the entertainment complex. Onsite there is also the ‘Seagull’ family bar and restaurant offering beverages and delicious meals throughout the day and evening!

The Venue is located on the site of Seawick Holiday Park, and is a fantastic investment for Park Holidays UK, who have 25 holiday parks across the South of England in Devon, Dorset, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent, Suffolk, and of course Essex. Seawick Holiday Park offers excellent accommodation packages for customers visiting The Venue.

At 7pm on Saturday 7th March the much awaited complex was unveiled! Chart topping girl band the ‘Sugababes’, supported by X Factors Amy Connelly and vocalist Matt Johnson performed in front of over 2,000 fans at this amazing grand opening. The show hit the front page of the local newspaper and was described the evening as ‘putting the new night spot on the map’.

The Venue has a number of different operations, including concert style entertainment (all standing), Theatre Style (all seated) and Clubroom style (tables and seating).  This allows for the many different performances and shows that are planned, including:-

• Music concerts for all ages, from the teenage sensation ‘N Dubz’, to the all round family entertainment from past X Factor stars, to the R&B 60s hit groups ‘The Drifters’ and Soul and Motown 70s success ‘The Stylistics’.
•  Comedy nights from Ricky Tomlinson’s ‘Laughter Show’, and Kevin ‘Bloody’ Wilson’s ‘Dilligaf Café World Tour’.
•  Setanta sports ‘Legions of the Oche’ presented by Duncan Norvelle.
• Theme weekends, such as Line Dancing and Country and Western, Salsa Dancing, Elvis, 60s and 70s, and the sell out Karate Weekend.
•  Weekend and bank holiday entertainment, free to Seawick holiday guests, including ‘Southern Soul Machines’, ‘Mad Hatters’ and ‘Sk8er Girls’.
•  Seawick owner’s only entertainment events. So far this has included a fantastic evening from the X Factor ‘Bad Lashes’ girls!

Disabled Access

The Venue can provide wheelchair access ramps for events and also public convenience facilities. When booking please instruct the ticket issuer that wheelchair access is required to allocate suitable seating prior to arrival.
